Moving on, the next non-Pro model is the iPhone 14 Max teased to arrive at $849 (or INR 67,500/-) and again, these aren’t official pricing. Next up, there’s iPhone 14 Pro at $999 (or INR 83,500/-) which puts it above the iPhone 13 Pro counterpart when comparing the entry-level pricing. iPhone 14 Pro Models Tipped With Pill-Shaped Cutout

For the unversed, iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are highly likely to ditch the infamous notch and will get a punch-hole notch onboard which takes less screen real estate and doesn’t just stare at your face like a normal notch. However, there have been many reports about the notch and Mark Gurman has more information about it. According to Mark Gurman, the notch onboard iPhone 14 Pro models will have two punch-holes instead of a single pill-shaped notch. Here, Apple is likely to use some software-based unlit pixel technique to conjoin both the punch-hole into creating a pill-shaped notch. The space between the cutouts will be used for privacy indicators where your iPhone will notify you if some apps are using a camera and/or mic. It will save up crucial screen real estate since the current iPhones have these privacy indicators on the extreme right of the status bar.

This information comes from some of the alleged employees working at Foxconn who happen to know about the Pro variant. Apart from the tipped notch updates, Apple is likely to redesign some elements of the built-in Camera app. A mockup created by MacRumors shows how the camera app will have some of the controls moved to the top of the screen including Live Photo and Flash. This will allow the users to have more screen real estate at the bottom of the screen. The Apple iPhone 14 Series will arrive officially on September 7 at the Apple Far Out Launch Event along with Apple Watch Series 8, and Apple Watch SE, among other announcements that we will get to know more about once the products launch.
